The leadership of the Ontario Conference is organizing a winter coat drive to help incoming refugees. Members of local churches are invited to participate in this initiative by purchasing a brand new coat. You can add, mittens, hats, scarfs, underwear, socks, anything that you think will make them more comfortable their first winter in Canada.
The Ottawa Adventist Church is taking part in the initiative. The church has identified a supplier who can sell us coats at a discounted price. We would like to ask you to make a donation towards a winter coat in your offering returned this Sabbath, September 9. You can also send a financial contribution towards the initiative by sending an e-transfer to ottawatreasurer@adventistontario.org, with memo/note “Winter Coat Drive”
The Community Services Ministry would purchase the coats on behalf of the Ottawa Adventist Church family. Let us help keep others warm this winter!
